USAL could offer double degrees with universities in UAE.

 

The Internationalization Vice chancellor of the University of Salamanca, Maria Angeles Serrano welcomed this morning at the Rectory a delegation of the UAE embassy in Spain led by its head of Economy, Mohamed Abdullah Al Shamsi. The International Courses of Salamanca University CEO José Miguel Sánchez Llorente attended as well.

Several issues were highlighted including the development of joint degrees between Salamanca University and universities in the Arabic Emirates, including bachelors and masters Spanish in the area of major projects were discussed as possible the implementation of franchises in the Persian Gulf country, teacher training both onsite and online format, the reception of students in International courses and enable closer cooperation in language certification.

Also, during his visit to the academic institution, the delegation of UAE States met at the School of Tourism of Avila welcomed by Sonsoles Reyes Manager of this institution.

They talked about future projects framed in the area of tourism in a country that is promoting itself in this area and want to gain strengthened in this respect.

Subsequently, in order to boost trade relations in the future, the retinues move to the Science Park of the University of Salamanca and visited Arbórea a company that design and manufacture Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems under Aracnocoptero trade mark.
