Científicos abordan cómo la tecnología está transformando la medicina en el Foro de Innovación organizado por la Fundación Pfizer y la Fundación Ramón Areces.
EXPERTS UNDERLINE THE NEED TO TRANSFER THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH TO THE HEALTH SYSTEM AND SOCIETY
- It is estimated that, in the next 5 years, the use of exoskeletons could be implemented for the rehabilitation and assistance of people who have suffered neurological damage.
- Spanish working groups have been pioneers in the research, development and validation of rehabilitation robotics and are leading the application of exoskeletons.
- Developing increasingly precise and selective nano-devices, more sophisticated and biodegradable implants, the use of 3D printing and stem cells, some of the lines of development in nanotechnology
- Drones can have multiple applications in medicine: transporting medicines to difficult areas, analyzing allergens or air pollutants, transporting organs or intervening in emergency processes.
